Responsibilities:

- Perform finish-stage installation of marine AC and DC electrical systems and components.
- Install, connect, and terminate electrical panels, switches, breakers, outlets, lighting, controls, and other electrical equipment.
- Complete final electrical connections to onboard machinery, pumps, motors, appliances, lighting, controls, accessories, and other vessel equipment as assigned.
- Route, secure, label, terminate, and organize wiring and harnesses to provide a clean and professional finished installation.
- Install and connect batteries, battery switches, charging systems, grounding and bonding components, and related equipment as assigned.
- Connect electrical components to previously installed rough wiring and verify correct circuit identification and routing.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, work orders, and manufacturer instructions.
- Use multimeters and other electrical testing equipment to verify voltage, continuity, polarity, connections, and proper system operation.
- Perform functional checks of installed electrical components and systems prior to final inspection.
- Troubleshoot wiring, connection, component, and installation issues and make necessary corrections.
- Identify and report discrepancies involving drawings, wiring, components, materials, or previous-stage installations to the Foreman or Supervisor.
- Inspect completed work for proper fit, secure connections, workmanship, appearance, and compliance with Viking Yacht Company quality standards.
- Protect finished yacht surfaces, cabinetry, equipment, and components while performing installation work.
- Coordinate, if needed, with other production departments during final assembly.
- Complete assigned work according to established production schedules while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Maintain tools, materials, and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
- Follow prescribed electrical safety procedures, company policies, and applicable workplace safety requirements.

Qualifications

- Vocational or technical electrical training is a plus.
- Experience with marine AC/DC electrical systems is strongly preferred.
- Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant hands-on experience will be considered.
